Bananas Foster

Ingrediants:
4 pats butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 bananas
cinnamon
banana liquor
dark rum
     
Method:

Heat pan, add. 4 pats butter.

When butter starts to melt, add 1 cup brown sugar and add cinniman (small amount), on top of sugar.

Add bananas - quartered - halfed lengthwise and widthwise on top of sugar.

Pour banana liquour over top. Sugar should now start to disolve, pan should be hot enough for liquour to flame. Use just enough to insure the sugar completely disolves.

Stir gently rocking the pan to disolve the sugar and coat and warm the bananas. Add small amount dark rum. Just enough for the pan to flame again. Dust flames with pinch of cinnimon to create showy sparks. Server over vannila ice cream.

For a more caramelly thicker style sauce, remove bannanas when heated through and add some cream, and heat at gentle boil until the desired consistancy is reached.
