This is Gilly. In the picture she is about 6 months of age.
While I am quite partial to the breed. and consider them wonderful dogs.
Heed this Warning: Think and learn before you consider making a newfoundland part of your family. Visit or join your local newfoundland dog club. Make sure you attend at least several activities. Get to know some newfs, talk to people that have experiance. Decide on what you are willing to invest in time and effort, and what you are looking for in a dog.
Newfs are not low maintenence dogs. They shed, they drool, they get really muddy. They demand a lot of attention. They are big, and require owners that are willing to train them to behave.
